Sweet Addies came in for her first birthday portraits and custom styled cake smash! This little girl had hair for days and smiles a plenty! Although the portraits went off without a hiccup, miss Addie decided cake was not for her!

Sweet handsome K-Vonn looks like he is ready for battle in his Black Panther costume! This is just the first of many super hero babies to come!
Kimber, oh how I love the name! She came in and rocked out her session. Mom and Dad came in and picked some of their favorite props and clothing and I put them together to create beautiful art for them to cherish for lifetimes. Creating memories for our clients brings so much joy! The snuggles are great too! There’s just something so intoxicating about the smell of a new baby. It just kicks those ovaries into overdrive!!!

We at Precious Encounters Photography plan custom cake smash sessions for each of our clients. When clients book their cake smash, a little questionnaire is sent out to get some ideas about what the parents may or may not like. We then begin our creative planning. This set was created around the little romper she is wearing. It inspired the theme, colors and setting for her custom cake smash. We also work very closely with a local baker in town to create custom cakes to match the theme. These moments are fun to watch and capture as each child reacts differently to cake. Some love it so much that we have to remind them to come up for air and then some are not quite sure what to do with it, and then there are some who flat out want nothing to do with it!

We absolutely love studio maternity sessions! They are our favorite to capture of expecting moms. There is something to be said about an expecting mother and their beauty as their bodies change to make room for another person! Maternity sessions are glamorous and show off the beauty of moms to be. We provide maternity clothing for these special sessions, so there is one less thing they have to buy and get for their session.
