Maternity Sessions
Experience the beauty of modern maternity portraits with us. At Precious Encounters Photography, we offer a range of styles to suit your preferences. From elegant and fine art portraits that emphasize your radiant glow and baby bump, to delicate and ultra-feminine tulle gowns. We also specialize in modern and intimate maternity boudoir portraits, as well as dramatic backlit silhouettes.
To enhance your maternity session, our studio provides a curated wardrobe filled with beautiful fabrics and high-quality maternity gowns. These options are available for our clients to use, ensuring that you feel and look your best during your session.
Maternity sessions are completed around 32-36 weeks. This is when moms are at their most comfortable. We encourage booking in your second trimester. Maternity Sessions are held in our temperature controlled studios only.
Investment
There is a $690 session, retainer, due at booking. This will be applied to a collection of your choice below. Balance is due the day of your session, when you select your images and make any print or product orders.

When should I book a session?
We recommend booking your maternity session in your second trimester.
How long does a session take?
Maternity sessions take anywhere from 60-90 minutes. We make sure mom is comfortable and has ample rest between poses and sets. We serve only 1-2 clients per day to provide our clients with the quality experience they deserve.
All our sessions are held in climate-controlled studios, ensuring a comfortable environment for you and your growing family!
How many images will I get to choose from?
You will have a proofed gallery of roughly 30-80 images to choose from.
What do I need to bring to my session?
Your whole closet! Just kidding, but really the more the merrier when it comes to maternity sessions. We do have a fully stocked client closet of gowns, outfits and accessories to use, but also encourage you to bring things from home to add to your choices and looks!
